2. Check:
• Thermoswitch continuity
(at the specified temperatures)
Out of specification → Replace the ther-
moswitch.
Checking steps:
1. Remove the thermoswitch.
Refer to “Oil separator tank and oil pan
removal” in Chapter 5.
2. Suspend the thermoswitch in a container
filled with water.
3. Slowly heat the water.
4. Check the continuity when the specified
temperatures are reached.
