Note: If the Encoder Cable length exceeds 20 m, be sure to also connect Relay Encoder Cables as shown at to
in the above diagram.
*1. If a battery is connected to the host controller, the Battery Case is not required. Use an Encoder Cable for Incre-
mental Encoders or Batteryless Absolute Encoders.
*2. This Cable is not required if you use a Servomotor with an Incremental Encoder, use a Servomotor with a Bat-
teryless Absolute Encoder, or connect a battery to the host controller.
The Servomotor Main Circuit Cables and Encoder Cables are installed away from the load.
You cannot install these Cables toward the load.
