Encoder Cables for Absolute Encoders
These cables are equipped with a Battery Case. (A Battery is included.)
Note: If a battery is connected to the host controller, the Battery Case is not required. If so, use a cable for incre-
mental encoders.
Selection Table
*1. Replace the boxes () in the order number with the cable length (03, 05, 10, 15, or 20).
*2. Use Flexible Cables for moving parts of machines, such as robots.
*3. The recommended bending radius (R) is 68 mm or larger.

Wiring Specifications
Note: Always connect the shield wire from the Encoder Cable to the connector case (shell).
Install a battery at either the host controller or on the Encoder Cable.
If you install batteries both at the host controller and on the Encoder Cable at the same time,
you will create a loop circuit between the batteries, resulting in a risk of damage or burning.
