This way is an interesting alternative if the distances between the AC 800F are
relatively short. The AC 800F are linked via 10Base2 cables and are protectively
separated by their power supply modules SA 801F/SA 811F. The fiber optic cable
provides for separation from the operator level. Since the network concentrator uses
the same 10Base2 cable as the AC 800F, it must be a 24 V unit, the 24 V supply of
which must have a protective separation as well.
Use an external power supply with protective separation!
