Strip off the cable sheath around 5 cm below the connector on a length of 2 cm, as
seen in Fig. 3-17. Use one of the available clips TV 831F and TV 832F for strain relief
and for putting on the cable shield. Five different diameters are available.
When putting on the cable shield, follow the instructions given below:
• Lead the cable shield close
to the connector.
• Strip off the external cable
sheath at the level of the
contact ledge (around 7 cm to
5 cm from connector).
• Fasten the cables with clips in
such a way that the braided
shield is in tight contact with
the contact ledge.
• If several cables are fastened
with the same clip, make sure
that all braided shields are in
tight contact with the contact
ledge.
