If a serious error occurs during the 1

Stage self-test, an error messages as shown
below or similar is displayed, depending on the reason:

The red Failure LED lights up permanently. This indicates that the AC 800F is
defective.
5.4.3 Messages of the hardware error memory
When a serious error has been detected, the location, error code, and date/time are
saved in the CPU board non-volatile memory. The error memory permits to save five
entries. It improves system support and maintenance since it allows for a better
diagnosis (in most cases the terminal has not yet been connected when the first
errors occur).
Note that the AC 800F will repeat a diagnosis message indicating a
serious error upon actuation of the Return key until it is reset.
