3 Mounting the AC 800F
3.1 Assembling the housing
AC 800F is delivered as an already assembled basic unit, and with a pre-assembled
power-supply module type SA 801F or SD 802F, as required.
Only few mounting steps have to be carried out: additional modules have to be
plugged in and, if this should be necessary to meet higher requirements in terms of
vibration resistance or for operation outside a cabinet, special mounting material has
to be installed.
Prior to mounting the modules, some basic setup actions (like setting the IP address
on Ethernet modules) have to be made. Then the modules can be plugged in the
housing and cabled properly.
Scope of delivery
1 basic unit, consisting of
• the pre-assembled housing
• the CPU board
• the pre-assembled contact
ledge for putting on the
connection cables
Accessories:
• Special mounting material
(RW 856F) for vibration-
resistant wall mounting
