4.1.4 Power supply module SD 812F (24 V DC)
Check the rating plate to see if
the power supply module is a
SD 812F one for connection to a
24 V DC mains.
The power supply module
provides a power supply input
redundancy.
• Prior to applying the mains voltage to it, always plug the power
supply module into the AC 800F and fasten it with screws.
• Do not connect power supply module to 115 - 230 V AC. Otherwise,
it will be damaged or even destroyed.
Cable power supply module SD 812F as seen in Fig. 4-7. Use the approved mains
cable TK 802F for powering the unit. With single power supply use either of the two
connectors and protect the unused one with a dummy plug. With redundant power
supply connect a cable TK 802F to each of the two connectors. Note that both supply
inputs have the same priority in this case.

• The power supply module must have a protective separation!
• Cover the unused connector with a dummy plug to protect it from
being touched (ESD).
