3.1.3 Mounting on top hat rails
• If the device is mounted outside a cabinet or switch box, the
special contact ledge RW 855F must be used.
• When mounting the devices to top hat rails, make sure that they
are positioned properly and that the rail clamping spring snaps
in.
Proceed as described below to mount the AC 800F to the top hat rail:
• Hook AC 800F housing on top
hat rail from above.
• Press down clamping spring.

• Let AC 800F snap in.
• Release clamping spring.

• Risk of overheating!
Minimum spacing above and below: 150 mm (3.375 HU).
• Maximum temperature at the AC 800F bottom side (air intake):
60 °

• Keep air vents open
Do not impair air flow through AC 800F.
• If the device is mounted outside a cabinet, the special contact
ledge (RW 855F) must be used.
• Do not use top hat rails when mounting the device in an
environment where strong vibration may occur. Use special
mounting material RW 856F for vibration-resistant wall mounting
instead. See Section 3.1.5 for details.
