7.1.14 REMOVING THE HANDGRIP
Carefully read 0.5.1 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
INFORMATIONS).
NOTE The following information refers to one unit only,
but is valid for both.
◆ Remove the antivibration weight unit from the handle-
bar, see 7.1.11 (REMOVING THE ANTIVIBRATION
WEIGHT).
◆ Insert the nozzle of a compressed air gun between the
grip (1) and the handlebar.
◆ Blow air, moving the gun’s nozzle with a rotary move-
ment and, at the same time, seize the other grip (1) with
the other hand and slide it off.
For the right grip only:
◆ Retrieve the two slide washers (2).
aCAUTION
Upon reassembly, do not forget to reinstall the two
slide washers (2).
