6.5 Installation of the lamp house
WARNING: This procedure may only be performed by qualified technical service p ersonnel.
CAUTION: Due to its high internal pressure, the lam p may exp lode in either hot o r cold states if im properly
handled.
Necessary tools
Flat screw driver.
How to install the lamp house
1. Ensure the projector is switched off.
2. Remove the lamp cover.
3. Hold fast the lam p house by its handles and gently slide the lamp hous e into its socket. Note that the compar tment is provided
with guides (G) t o position the lamp house correctly.

4. Push the lamp house f orward until it s lides full
y into the projector.
5. Secure the correct position of the lamp house by tightening all three spring lock screws as illustrated.
