11 .8 Cleaning the UV blocker of the Lamp House
When cleaning the UV blocker?
Only clean the UV b locker of the Lamp House in case it is really necessary. This me ans in case dust is clearly visible upon the
surface of the UV blocker.
This procedure requires that the UV blocker is removed from the Lamp House.

ness and dizziness. Avoid co ntact with skin and eyes. In case of contact w ith the eyes, rinse im med iately w ith
plenty of water and see k medical advise.

Hazardous product. Lightly flam mab le. Always use in a well ven tilated area. Keep away from sources of
ignitions. D o not smok e w hile w orking w ith iso propanol. Exclusive keep in original container tightly closed
at a co ol, w ell ven tilated and fireproof s torage space.
Necessary tools
• Clean Torayse cloth.
• Clean cotton cloth.
• Demineralized water.
• Isopropanol alcohol.
How to clean the UV b locker of the Lamp House?
1. Wipe off the dus t of both sides o f the UV blocker. Use for that a clean Tor ayse cloth.
Tip: Limit the n umber of w ipe movements. T his to protect the optical co ating. It is better to wipe of the dust with one good
wipe movemen t than with 10 soft wipe moveme nts.
2. Is all dust removed from the UV blocker?
If yes, s top this cleaning procedure.
If no , wipe off the d ust of the UV blocker with a clean cotton c loth and demineralized water.
Tip: Use isop ropanol alcohol instead of demineralized water to remove fin gerprints.
CAUTION: Never reinstall a UV blocker with is cracked or h as a dam aged coating. Neglecting this will result
in irreversible damag e of optical parts in the p rojector.
