2.3 Initial inspection
General
Before shipment, the projector was inspected and found to be free of mec hanical and electrical defects. As soon as the projector is
unpacked, inspect for any dam age that m ay have occurred in transit. Save all packing material until the inspection is com pleted. If
damage is found, file claim with ca rrier imm ediately. Th e B arc o Sales and Service office should be notified as soon as possible.
The packag ing of the DP2K-20C digital projector is provided with a shock-watch label. If this shock-watch
label was triggered (red colored at arrival) during transpo rt, indicates that the packag e was poss
ibly roughly
handled by t he transport company. In this case, the instructions mentioned o n the label, should be followed,
which are: adding a note on the “bill of lading” and informing the transport company and the Barco sales and
service office as s oon as possible.
Box content
After unpa cking the projector it is recommended to check if all following items where include
d:
• One short power link cable (mono phase) (in c ase no U PS is used) - Installed on projec tor.
• This manual (installation manual).
•CD
• Safety manual
One xenon lamp s mounted inside the lamp house at delivery. The projector lenses are not included in the
package of the projector.
Mechanical check
This chec k should confirm that there are no broken knobs or connec tors, that the cabinet and panel su rfaces are free of dents and
scratches, and that the operating p anel is no t s cratched or cracked. T he B arco Sales and Service office should be notified a s soon
as poss ible if this is not the case.
