4.2 Removal of the lamp house
WARNING: This procedure may only be performed by qualified technical service personnel.
CAUTION: Lam p casing is very hot after operation. To avoid burns, l et the p rojector cool down for at least 15
minutes before proceeding to the lamp unit replacement.
CAUTION: Due to its high internal pressure, the lamp may explode in either hot o r cold states if imp roperly
handled.
Necessary tools
Flat screw driver
How to remove the l amp house of the projector
1. Switch off the pr ojector.
2. Remov e the lamp cover.
3. Release the three spring lock screws of the lam p house as illustrated.

4. Take the lamp house by the ha ndles and pull it out of the projector.
Caution: Beware of the weight of the lamp assem bly. Take the necessary precautions to a void personal injury.
