2.14.12 Clerk Key ( Menu code 1856 )

Menu 1856 is used to assign Clerks to Clerk Keys. You can program up to 64 Clerk
Keys using Menu 1880 Key Define (Chapter 2.14.22).
Note: Clerk Keys subtract from the total number of Speed Keys available. Once a
Clerk Key is assigned to a Speed Key location, there is no Shift function available for
that key location either.
1. Enter Clerk Key
• This value can be from 1 to 64.
EX) Clerk Key No. = 2
2. Enter Clerk No.
EX) Clerk = 2. LEE
In this example Lee, who is Clerk 2 is assigned to Clerk Key No. 2. This means that anytime Clerk Key
number 2 is pressed during a sale that sale will be registered to Clerk 2, Lee.
2.14.13 Test (Menu code 1860)
( MENU → 8. SCALE CONFIG → 6. Test )
This Menu is used to perform diagnostic tests on the scale. The tests available are
Display, A/D, Keyboard, Chess Print, Printer Sensor, Memory Information, Firmware
Version and Communications.
Press “6” to get into TEST menu.①
