GVRP
GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP) is specifically provided for automatic
distribution of VLAN membership information among VLAN-aware bridges. GVRP
allows VLAN-aware bridges to automatically learn VLANs to bridge ports
mapping, without having to individually configure each bridge and register VLAN
membership.
In the
GVRP Screen
, users can do the following tasks, and the results are
displayed in the GVRP Table:
• Configuring GVRP
• Enabling/Disabling GVRP on a port /LAG
To define GVRP on the device:
STEP 1 Click VLAN Management > GVRP. The
GVRP Screen
opens.
