9.3 Replacing the M/C Cable
Since each motor is powered by the battery for backup, the position data will not be lost
when the Controller is turned OFF. When the battery connectors are disconnected, the
position data will be lost and EPSON RC+ displays an error message warning the encoder
alarm occurrence when the Controller is turned ON.

Do not insert or pull out the motor connectors while the power to the robot system
is turned ON.
It is extremely hazardous since the Manipulator may move
abnormally.

To shut off power to the robot system, pull out the power plug from the power
source.
Be sure to connect the AC power cable to a power receptacle. DO
