9.3 Outlet Control Thermistor
- FFLE3911QW and
FFLG4033QW
9.3.1 General Characteristics
The thermistor is a type of resistor whose resistancevaries
significantly with the temperature.
The thermistor measures the
temperature of the air in the
dryer and adjusts the heat
accordingly. When a thermistor
fails, it can cause the dryer not
to heat at all or heat up to the
wrong temperature.
Outlet Thermistor is used to
check the temperature of air at exahust.
WARNING
When replacing the Outlet Control Thermistor, refer
to the code shown in the list of spare parts relating
to the appliance.
