6 Changing the Machine Settings
[Receiving Buffer - LPD]
Configure whether to perform spooling when storage (optional) has been installed. Storage (optional) is used as the
receiving buffer for spooling.
Note
If [No Spooling] is configured, it is not possible to receive data from another computer through the same interface when
LPD print processing is being performed.
Configuring [LPD Print Queue] may make it impossible to change [Receiving Buffer - LPD]. For details, refer to "[LPD Print
Queue]" (P.118).
[Receiving Buffer - SMB]
This item cannot be used by this machine.
[Receiving Buffer - IPP]
Configure whether to perform spooling when storage (optional) has been installed. Storage (optional) is used as the
receiving buffer for spooling.
Note
If [No Spooling] is configured, it is not possible to receive data from another computer through the same interface when
IPP print processing is being performed.
[Delete Form]
Delete registered forms individually. Specify the form numbers of each Printer mode, check the displayed form
names, and then delete.
[Stored Job Retention Period]
Configure whether to delete accumulated print documents (Sample Set, Secure Print, Private Charge Print, and
Charge Print documents) that have exceeded the retention period.
[Display Default of Stored Print Job List]
Configure the list of accumulated print documents (Sample Set, Delayed Print, Secure Print, Private Charge Print,
and Charge Print) to [List] or [Thumbnail].
[Print Job Confirmation Screen]
Configure whether to display a confirmation screen related to document deletion after printing when printing
accumulated print documents. If [Disabled] is configured, documents are deleted automatically after printing.
[Preview Generation]
Configure whether to create a preview image when displaying a list of accumulated print documents (Sample Set,
Delayed Print, Secure Print, Private Charge Print, and Charge Print documents).
[Duration for Preview Generation]
Configure whether to limit the creation time of preview images of accumulated print documents. If [Limited] is
configured, only preview images created within the time limit are displayed, and preview images that exceed the
time limit are not displayed.
[Minimum Passcode Length for Stored Jobs]
Configure the minimum digit count of PINs required when accumulating or printing Secure Print and Charge Print
documents.
Note
If a minimum digit count will not be specified, or PINs will not be entered, configure [0].
[Print Order for All Selected Files]
Configure the print order when all saved documents have been selected.
