Before you give up, you should know that a lot of
issues with the Google Home devices are easy to
solve. Due to the Google Home being a software-
heavy device, many solutions will involve making
changes in the Google Home app or with a soft
reset by unplugging it from its power source.
We’re going to take you through some of the
Google Homes more common problems and
let you know the best way to resolve any issues.

My Google Home won’t connect to
my Wi-Fi network
For problems with Wi-Fi connections it is best to
split the problem into two possible categories:
your Wi-Fi router and the Google Home device.
Start by checking if your other devices in the
house can connect to the Wi-Fi. If they are also
having problems connecting, then the problem
is your Wi-Fi network. Turn off the router, unplug
it for around a minute before plugging it back in.
If the router is still having problems after this we
recommend you contact your internet provider.
If the Wi-Fi is fine, check your Google Home
device. Unplug the power supply from your
Google Home device and leave it for around one
