A Digital Plotter requir

that the

nal Computer be connected to the laser Measurement
Sys
tem. The Plotter
wil
l not
work
with
a laser Measurement
System
tha
t does not have
an
HP
Pe
rsonal
Computer
connected to
it
.
1.
Make
sure that the HP Per
so
nal
Co
mputer
and the Plotter a
re
correctly
se
t
up
to operate fr
om
the
line
vohage
avai
lable at yo
ur
site, then connect each
of
them to the
power
line.
2.
Connect the
HP

IJ
connectors
of
all units in the syslem togcther, using one
or
two
HP
~
I
IJ
cables.
Figure 5-4 shows
wh
ere the
HP

connector islocaled on the Measurement

rear
panel.
