1. From the primary host, define a path set consisting of inter-control unit logical paths (Primary
-> Local) and inter-disk controller logical paths (Primary -> Remote) or specify a path using
Remote Web Console.
This creates the path set definition file.
2. From the primary host, create a route list (Primary -> Local, Primary -> Remote).
This creates the route list definition file for the forward direction.
For details on how to define a route list, see “Defining a route list” (page 457)
3. From the primary host, establish an inter-control unit logical path (Primary -> Local) and inter-disk
controller logical path (Primary -> Remote).
