16. Use TPC-R on the primary host to restart the copying of the Cnt Ac-S copy pairs with the
HyperSwap attribute.
Cnt Ac-S copy pairs with the HyperSwap attribute are moved from the SWAPPING status to
the DUPLEX status.
Operation is returned to normal.
Operating Procedure During a Primary Storage System Failure (Nonvolatile)
The following are the operating procedures taken when the primary storage system is in a nonvolatile
failure state.
Failover
The failover procedure taken when the primary storage system is in a nonvolatile failure state is
the same as the failover procedure taken when the primary storage system is in a volatile failure
state. See “Failover” (page 363).
Failback
1. Recover the primary storage system failure.
2. On the primary host, execute the YKDELETE command for Cnt Ac-J Z copy pairs that are
between the primary storage system and the remote storage system.
The Cnt Ac-J Z copy pairs that are between the primary storage system and the remote storage
system are moved to the SIMPLEX status.
