Rear Wheel Support
Removal
See Figures 7-20 and 7-21.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-7.)
2. Remove the hood. (See “Hood” on page 9-6.)

3. Turn the wheel slightly to allow the screw (2) securing
the rod end of the steering cylinder to align with the
hole (1) in the wheel pivot weldment.
4. Remove the rear wheel motor. (See “Rear Wheel
Motor” on page 5-36.)
5. Remove lock nut (5) and lock washer (6) from screw
(2).
NOTE
Record the location of washers before removing to
ensure correct installation.
6. Remove screw (2) and four flat washers (3) from the
rear wheel support (7) and the rod end of the
steering cylinder (4).

Record the orientation of the rear wheel support before
removal to ensure correct installation.
7. Support the rear wheel support (13).
8. Remove screw (8), lock washer (9), and flat washer
(10), and remove the rear wheel support (13) and
Nilos ring (14) from the wheel pivot weldment (12).
9. Remove the upper (11) and lower (15) bearings from
the wheel pivot weldment (12).
