Hood
Removal and Installation
See Figures 9-9 and 9-10.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-7.)
2. Raise and support the hood.

3. Remove four screws (1), lock washers (2), and flat
washers (3).

4. Remove the hood (4).
Installation Note
Install the hood by reversing the order of removal.

CAUTION

2. Raise and support the seat platform.
3. Raise the hood.

Contact with diesel fuel can damage your skin.
Use gloves when working with diesel fuel. If you
come into contact with diesel fuel, wash it off
immediately.
