Throttle Cable and Control Lever
Removal and Installation
See Figures 3-27 through 3-31.
NOTE
Naturally aspirated engine shown; turbocharged engine
is similar.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-7.)
2. Raise the hood.
3. Raise and support the seat platform.

4. Move throttle lever (1) to the “slow” position.

NOTE
Record the location of the spring washers before
removing to ensure correct installation.
5. Remove screw (5), two spring washers (6), and
throttle clamp (7) from throttle cable (4) and lever (3).
6. Remove screw (8) and clamp (2) from throttle cable
sheath (9).

7. Remove six screws (10) and move the panel (11)
aside.
