3. The first time you activate the feature, a series of tutorial screens may appear to explain
how to use the feature, including navigating the UI. It is suggested that you study that
tutorial if you are not already familiar with how to use Talkback. Tap on Next to outline
the button, then double tap it to proceed to the next page. When you select Finish in
the same manner on the last screen, the TalkBack feature will be set to on.
4. To turn TalkBack off, tap the Use TalkBack on/off icon, double tap it, tap Stop, and
then double tap it.

Press and hold both volume keys for a few seconds when the TalkBack shortcut is
turned on with the Hold volume keys option enabled.

Tap and double tap it when the TalkBack shortcut is turned on with the Tap
accessibility button option enabled.

Select to Speak
Select to Speak reads aloud any text that you can tap on such as documents, emails, text
messages, text on websites and text labels throughout the device interface.
1. From the Accessibility screen, tap Select to Speak.
2. To turn it on, tap the Select to Speak shortcut on/off icon, read the confirmation
message and tap Allow > Got it.
3. Tap and then tap the item you want to be read out. To hear multiple items, drag
your finger across the screen. Tap if you want to hear everything on the screen.

Display size and text
► From the Accessibility screen, tap Display size and text to open the Display size and
text screen.
Font size
Adjust the font size on the screen.
► From the Display size and text screen, drag the slider left or right to adjust the font size.
