Mobile networks
The Mobile network options let you enable your phone’s mobile data access, set your preferred
network mode, and select network operators for international use. When you’re using two or
more SIMs, you can configure the following network settings for each SIM.
► From the SIM screen, tap Verizon or a downloaded eSIM to open the mobile network
settings screen for your selected SIM.
Enable or disable SIM profile
You can enable or disable your installed eSIM as well as a physical SIM.
► From the mobile network settings screen, tap the on/off icon next to Use SIM to turn it
on or off.
SIM preferences
Set the default SIM for data, calls, and SMS when you’re using more than one SIM.
1. From the mobile network settings screen, tap Data preference, Calls preference, or
SMS preference.
2. Select your desired SIM.
Mobile data
Select whether to use a mobile network to access data.
Switch mobile data automatically
When you have set up multiple SIMs, you can set whether or not to automatically switch to
another SIM, such as when your phone is out of the service area for your preferred SIM. This
menu will be displayed only for SIMs that are not set as your data preference.
Roaming
You can allow or disallow your phone to use mobile data services while it is roaming.
Roaming state
You can view your roaming status.
App data usage
Shows data usage over mobile connections by app over a period of time.
Data warning & limit
Set a target date for each month to reset data for the usage cycle, data warning, and data limit.
WARNING: The usage displayed is measured by your phone. Your carrier’s data usage
accounting may differ and the usage in excess of your data plan limit can result in
charges. The data usage limit set in this menu is not guaranteed to prevent
additional charges.
NOTE
: Carrier data accounting may differ from device accounting.
