3. Tap the VPN connection you have added.
4. When prompted, enter your login credentials, and then tap Connect.
When you are connected, a VPN connected icon appears in the notification area.
Private DNS
Private DNS is a way to secure queries and responses between your phone and a website
when your phone tries to get information from the website. You can configure your phone to
connect to a private host.
1. From the Network & internet screen, tap Private DNS.
2. Tap one of available Private DNS modes.
NOTE:
If you selected
Private DNS provider hostname
, enter the hostname you want
to use.
3. Tap Save.
Adaptive connectivity
You can save battery life by enabling this function. Your phone will automatically switch from 5G
to 4G when it thinks you wouldn’t benefit from faster network and will turn on 5G only when you
need increased speed, like when you stream or download videos.
Connected Devices
Your phone can connect to other devices as follows.
► From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Connected devices to open the Connected
devices screen.
USB
Select which device will control the USB connection and the USB mode to be used during the
connection.
NOTE:
This menu appears only when the USB cable is connected between your phone and
another device such as a PC.
1. From the Connected devices screen, tap USB.
2. Tap the item you want to set.
