Gestures
This menu allows you to interact with your phone using gestures.
► From the System screen, tap Gestures.
Quickly open camera
You can open the camera app by pressing the Power key twice when this function is set to on.
Navigation mode
See Navigation mode.
Lift to wake
This function allows you to turn the screen on by simply picking up your phone from the desk or
taking it out of your pocket.
One-handed mode
See One-handed mode.
Press and hold power button
Set your phone’s action when you press and hold the Power key.
Prevent ringing
Allows you to prevent ringing by pressing the Power key and Volume Up key together.
Date & time
Use the Date & time settings menu either to automatically use the network-provided date and
time or manually set these values, as well as select time and date format options.
1. From the System screen, tap Date & time.
2. Tap Set time automatically to turn off if necessary.
If set to on, you cannot set the date or time values manually.
3. Tap Set automatically to turn off the automatic time zone selection if necessary.
If set to on, you cannot set the time zone values manually.
Tap
Use location
to turn it off if you do not want to use the location to set time
zone.
4. Tap Time zone. Tap Region, select a region from the onscreen list, and then select a
time zone if necessary.
5. Tap Date. Tap the date on the onscreen calendar and tap OK.
6. Tap Time. Adjust the hour and minute by using the onscreen clock and tap AM or PM.
Tap OK when finished.
