• If you have a Locked phone -> you can use locked and unlocked FW. Using unlocked firmware WILL NOT
unlock a locked phone.
• If you have an Unlocked phone -> you can only use unlocked FW, because if you use locked FW on a
unlocked phone your phone will be locked again to the locked network FW.
This is the latest V3x firmware (as of July 2006):

It is unlocked and unbranded, meaning no network operator specific settings and limitations in terms of control,
capabilities/functions, and setup of your phone. Keep browsing through the modding forums to grab the information
you need and when stuck or not sure feel free to post your questions. Once you flash your phone with the unbranded
firmware, this will typically unbrand your phone about 98%.
