Ebentley’s note; US Cingular users already do this modification with the HTTP (vice WAP) Web Session and Server
name changes to enable successful receipt of MMS messages and to view web page graphics properly. I ran into
issues using the 004a_0001, offset 10D, Bit 2=on” solutions in the Washington D.C. area. Without this mod, my GPRS
icon displays properly so I’ve left well-enough alone;>)
OK so I flashed my H3G originally 3 branded phone with the 85.9A.80R MP.
Everthing appeared to be fine, except I couldn’t get my phone to send any MMS. If I sent one to my phone it would
arrive after maybe 30-40mins??
OK, so a few things to say here.... I backed up my WebSession file before flashing and I copied it back... all looked
sweet - when I tried to send an MMS message however it would bomb out immediately and say "Unable to send
message - in outbox to retry later".
The thing here is that the MMS setup after flashing with the MP requires a bit more info than what is contained in the
