2.35 New Zealand V3x Vodafone 3G Settings [computercare]
Problem: Can anyone help me on this one I have updated my phone with this Monster Pack S/W Version:

Pack: 0039 Stock/Unlocked .6 MB] [Uploaded.May.10.06] and everything works 99.9% great only one small thing
my Vodafone live only works in text now as I cannot get any images does anyone have a work around to fix this or a

Answer: Whoot solution found here’s how for anyone in NZ with the same problem and maybe Australia and some
others
download and install monster pack s/w version: r252211ld_u_85.99.50r.shx flex version: usrazrv3xrurxxr2522100a
bootloader: boot0682 language pack: 0039 stock/unlocked 22.6 MB] found at ******************** razr_v3x.php this
works sweet 100% for NZ v3x new phones mines only 1 week old.
use RSD Lite 3.0 to flex/flash your phone use Google to find it took me about 5 min apparently it is illegal to post where
to get it. Just to let future v3x owners know, the German files successfully fix Vodafone live with the vfnz wap
settings. Next if your phone does not have browser don’t worry download this file and use p2k commander to
overwrite the files in /a/ get the file here you want to download v3x_vodafone_live.rar

mobile phone configurator
http://wireless.vodafone.co.nz/ota.cfm and follow thru each step to get automatic setup to
your phone via text message. Then after all that it should work 100% sweet. it took me ages to learn all this being a
total newbie at it but wth the help of patient, cool people out there I succeeded and have 1 damn rocking state of the
art Motorola v3x. Anyone requiring any help just pm me. I hope this is not to complicated to understand as it’s the first
time i have ever tried this.
2.36 Problem Sending Caller ID
Problem: (deiv02) I am having a problem sending my caller id when i make calls. The call comes up as "private" or
"restricted" on my friends cells. There is a setting that says i can send my caller id but only on my next call, then it
becomes restricted again. I want my ID to be sent out every call but there is no setting. Can someone help me with this
issue?
Answer: (thefox) Go to: Menu>Settings>In-call Setup>My caller ID>All calls>Show ID. That must fix your problem.
2.37 How to Save/Not Save SMS messages to your SIM card
2.37.1 H3G Flex
If you’re wondering how to set your SMS messages to save to the phone instead of your SIM card, here’s how:
g. Start RDS Lite and minimize it
h. Start LeaderGL Flex Editor
i. On Flex Editor’s menu, select Phone>Load Flex From Phone
j. In the “Functions List” Box: Scroll down to the "Save SMS to SIM" option
k. Uncheck this option
l. On Flex Editor’s Menu: Select Phone>Save Flex to Phone
m. On Flex Editor’s Menu: Select>Phone>Restart Phone
2.37.2 Vodafone Flex
Actually, that "Save SMS on the SIM Card" selection is only available in the H3G flex. It's not an option in the
Vodafone flex so you will have to set this manually with a SEEM edit (see paragraph 2.37.3 below).
2.37.3 How to set SMS storage manually
To set the SMS storage location manually do this SEEM edit:
