Enabling/Disabling Lid Open Alerts and Settings
An optional lid switch (part number 1128173) is required for the Lid Alert.
NOTE: A lid switch is standard for Melt-on-Demand systems.
Use the Lid Alert option to receive system alert pop-up message when the lid
is left open for too long.
1. Press the
on the Navigation pad to toggle Lid Open Alert to Enabled
or Disabled. The default is Enabled.
2. Select Lid Open Alert Time, press >, and enter the number of minutes
you want the lid to be opened before the melter enters into an Alert
condition. The default is 2 minutes, the minimum is 1 minute, and the
maximum is 10 minutes. When done press the
on the Navigation pad
to accept changes.
3. Press
to return to the Home screen, or press < to return to the
System Settings menu.
NOTE:
S Press on the OLED panel to clear and reset any Alert, Fault, or
Stop condition.
