Defining Temperature Settings
This section of the manual details the following Temperature System
Settings:
S SmartMelt (Melt-on-Demand only)
S Setback
S Ready Delay
S Global (Temperature) Settings
Defining SmartMelt Settings
SmartMelt is for Melt-on-Demand systems and allows the system to
automatically reduce the tank temperature by 17 C (31 F) if the fill system is
inactive for a user‐specified amount of time, thereby preventing adhesive
degradation. The system continues to maintain ready status until a fill signal
is generated again.
1. Press the
on the Navigation pad to toggle the SmartMelt to Enabled or
Disabled. The default is Enabled.
2. Enter the Delay Time of fill inactivity before entering into SmartMelt
mode – reducing the temperature of tank. The default is 30 minutes,
minimum 15 minutes, and maximum is 60 minutes. When done, press the
on the Navigation pad to accept changes.
3. Press
to return to the Home screen, or press < to return to the
System Settings | Temperature menu
NOTE:
S Press on the OLED panel to clear and reset any Alert, Fault, or
Stop condition.
