Defining Product and Trigger Settings
You will need to define the following product settings before you can define
or “Teach” the Target Add-on value.
1. Go to Home | System Settings | Flow Settings and select Product
Settings. Enter the following information

Product Skip Count Number of products to ignore before teaching
or monitoring products for out-of-tolerance
adhesive output

Products to Average The number of products the system averages
to calculate the Target Add-on value
Notes:
S The Products to Average value is
automatically determined and set during
the Teach process.
S If you do not use the Teach mode, make
sure the number of products meets or
exceeds a weight total of 8 grams.
S If you make use of the Teach option, any
value you enter will be overwritten.
S Use a smaller value if you want a faster
time to alarm for out-of-tolerance products.

Idle Skip Time The amount of time (in seconds) the system
waits to start skipping products when a product
is not detected for the specified amount of
time.
Note:
S This feature is needed for operations in
which the production line is cleared out
after being stopped and/or before being
restarted.

Startup Skip Count The additional number of products to skip at
start up before teach mode starts.
Note:
At start up (power on) and when idle skip time
is exceeded, the Startup Skip Count is added
to the products to skip. Under these
conditions, the number of products to skip and
Startup Skip Count must be met before a
Teach operation begins.
