REAR HUB INSTALLATION
1. Start bearing carrier on drive shaft.
2. Align bottom of carrier housing and lower control
arm. Grease and slide lower control arm bushings
into place, securing corner housing.
3. Install and torque both lower control arm bolts.
4. Lift bearingcarrier untiltopaligns withuppercontrol
arm. Install and torque upper control arm bolt and
torque to specification.
5. Pull drive shaft outward and install hub onto
driveshaft splines.
6. Install cone washers with domed side facing
outward.
7. Install retainer nut, wheel and wheel nuts.
8. Remove jackstand and torque axle nut and wheel
nuts.
9. Install a new cotter pin. T ighten nut slightly to align
holes if required.
10. Install hub cap.
Lower Control Arm Bolt Torque:
30 ft. lbs. (41 Nm)
Upper Control Arm Bolt Torque:
35 ft. lbs. (48 Nm)
Rear Hub Nut Torque:
100 ft. lbs. (138 Nm)
Rear Wheel Nut Torque
20 ft. lbs. (27 Nm)
