12.4 Removal of the Lamp House
WARNING: This procedure may only be performed by qualified technical service p ersonnel.
WARNING: The Lamp House is very hot after operation. To avoid burns, let the projector cool down for at
least 15 minutes before proceeding to remove the Lamp Ho use.
CAUTION: Due to its high internal pressure, the lamp may exp lode in e ither hot or cold states if improperly
handled.
Necessary tools
8mm nut driver or flat screw driver.
How to remove the Lamp House from the projector?
1. En sure the projector is switched off and cooled down.
2. R emove the cover of the Lamp House compartment.
3. R elease the two retaining screws (reference 1 image 12-14) at the base of the Lam p H ouse. Use a 8mm nut driver or a flat screw
driver.
4. R emov e the Lam p House as follows:
a) Grip the Lamp H ouse by the handle and slide it out half way of the lamp com partment
b) Support the Lam p House at the bottom with the other ha nd and remove it from the lamp compartment.
c) Place the Lamp House on a s table support.
Caution: Be aware of the weight of the lamp assemb ly. Take the necess ary pre cautions to avoid personal injury.
