Box/Lot Counter
A box/lot counter is a dual counter which can be used to print box and lot
numbers.
In the event of a power failure, when power is restored the counter will
restart from the point of shutdown.
To insert a box/lot counter into the message design:
(1) Place the cursor where the counter is required.
(2) Select the Count icon.
(3) Select Box/Lot.
(4) The following counter settings can be defined:
(5) Select Insert to confirm the settings and return to the Message
Designer.
Setting Name Explanation
BoxLot 1 Select BoxLot 1 to print a single box/lot counter
BoxLot 2 Select BoxLot 2 to print two box/lot counters
Setup Counter 1
and 2
The settings for each of the counters:
First Line Enter the starting value for the counter.
Second Line Enter the counter’s current value.
Third Line Enter the counter’s reset point. When
the counter reaches this number it will reset to the
start point and begin counting again.
Fourth Line Enter the number of steps the counter
should count in.
For example, if the Step value is set to 5, the counter
will count in the sequence:
5, 10, 15, 20, etc.
Fill Zero Turn leading zeros ON or OFF.
Direction Select Up to count upwards.
Select Down to count downwards.
