ALL

Clean the crankshaft
and
flywheel tapers with
Cleaning Solvent
and
let dry. These surfaces must
be
clean and dry to allow proper locking of the
tapers.
Align the flywheel keyway
and
install flywheel.
Coat the threads of the flywheel nut with Gasket
Sealing Compound. Install the nut and torque
to
the correct value. See chart below.

Remove the flywheel. Refer

9.9/15 MODELS
Loosen the six screws attaching the ignition plate
to
the retainer plate. Lift the ignition plate from the
powerhead.
Remove the four support
plate screws. Lift the
retainer and support plate
from
the powerhead.
