ID Transmission
ID transmission requires that transmission be performed with a password attached. If the facsim-
ile with FK-102 Type-A is set to Closed area Rx, it is necessary for the sender to send the same
password as the Closed area Rx password.

Functions incompatible with ID Tx
Polled Tx, Polling Rx, Confidential Tx, Bulletin, Relay Tx Req
• Unavailable with the Internet Fax.
1. Press [FA X] on the control panel to view the FAX Basic
screen, if it is not already displayed.
2. Press APPLICATION on the FAX Basic screen.
3. Press .
4. Press ID Tx.
5. Enter the Tx ID (Max. 20 digits) in the Password box.
• Numerals of 0-9, and symbols # and * can be used for the password.
• To correct a wrong entry, use DELETE.
• Press [CLEAR] or [STOP] to clear the whole entry.
