Setting Abbreviated Dial Numbers
Abbreviated dial numbers can be assigned to remote FAX numbers dialed frequently. If you
define the name and a comment for each station, the remote station list can be used to select a
specific station.
We describe the procedures of registering abbreviated dial numbers (assigning the FAX number,
remote station name, comment, Original setting and Application functions to each abbreviated
dial number), changing abbreviated dial numbers registered, and deleting abbreviated dial num-
bers registered.
•
Up to 500 abbreviated dial numbers (000-499) can be set.
• The FAX number can be up to 38 digits. The remote station name can be up to 24 char-
acters.
• The information you have registered can be confirmed by looking at the abbreviated dial-
ing list. See "Abbreviated Dialing List" (p. 15-25) for information about printing out the list.
