Cash Drawer / COM Port Voltage Setting SAP-4800 II
1. Touch the SYSTEM icon on the main PROGRAM MODE screen to display all the
program categories. The System menu displays.
2. From the SYSTEM menu touch SETTINGS.
3. Enter the MANAGER PASSWORD at the prompt.
4. On the Settings menu, scroll down the category list on the left-side menu to the SYSTEM
category.
5. Select Developer Options from the available selections. Note: the developer options must
be ON to allow editing.
6. Select the Cash Drawer Voltage Setting or select COM1/2/3 Port Voltage Setting.
7. Choose the value for each setting as desired.
8. To return to the SAM4POS application, press the icon.
Super Macro
The super macro (a troubleshooting resource) records the keystrokes performed. The super macro data is
organized by date in a text file format (i.e. log20170123.txt). We can back up the super macro data to either an
SD card or to a USB drive. We can also print the super macro data to the local printer on the SAM4POS station.
1. Touch SUPERMACRO on the SYSTEM selection menu screen.
2. Select the super macro log date text file you wish to view. On the report, each keystroke is
preceded with a code:
[M] indicates the keystroke is a MLU key
[K] indicates the keystroke is a function key list
[F] indicates the keystroke is a function key
