6. Enter the new quantity and then touch ADD, to add to the current quantity; SUBTRACT, to remove
from the current quantity; or OVERRIDE, to enter a new quantity. Touch CANCEL if you wish to
exit without making any changes.
MLU CHAIN
The MLU Chains are used to group certain MLU menus together, these MLU Chains can then be
assigned to PLUs. Refer to the MLU Edit programming on page 175 for details about creating and
editing MLU’s.
When a PLU with a MLU Chain assigned to it is registered, the operator is required to make selections from the
MLU’s before tendering is allowed. For example; Pizza may link to an MLU Chain that selects SIZE, CRUST,
and TOPPINGS.
1. From the PROGRAM MODE menu, touch PLU to view the PLU program selection window,
then touch MLU CHAIN to view, add or edit current MLU Chains.
2. MLU Chain programming is separeated into 3 columns:
a. The left column lists the MLU Chains.
b. The Middle column shows the MLU’s assigned to the selected MLU Chain.
c. The right column sets the minimum/maximum quantity selections for each MLU in the
chain and the description for the selected MLU Chain.
3. Use the icon to add more MLU Groups or add MLU’s to a MLU Group.
4. The icon can be used to EDIT or SORT MLU Groups and MLU’s assigned to MLU Groups.
