[P] indicates the keystroke is a PLU entry
[M] indicates the keystroke is a mode selection
[REG] indicates the register sales mode is selected
[POWER] indicates terminal lost power/ rebooted
3. Press the appropriate operation button to:
a. Backup – Backup the data to an SD Card or USB Drive.
b. Delete – Deletes the selected super macro log file.
c. Print – Print the selected super macro log file to the receipt printer for the current
station.
4. The Edit Mode icon can be used to select and delete specific Super Macro Log entries or
backup the selected Log files to an SD Card or USB memory device.
Program Backup & Restore
Program Backup & Restore provides a means to back up the program files in a CSV format and backup the
current image file in the SAM4POS.
Note: Restore operations are only available for the System Admin.
.CSV Backup / Image Backup
The .CSV BACKUP backs up the configuration programs into files that can be opened and edited in Excel.
The IMAGE BACKUP backs up any images that are being used on keys, screens, receipts or screensavers.
1. Touch PROGRAM BACKUP & RESTORE from the SYSTEM menu selection screen. The
Program Backup & Restore screen displays.
