2. Select .CSV BACKUP to save the program files in a comma separated format or IMAGE BACKUP
to save the current image file in the terminal.
3. Choose the device you wish to backup to; PATH selections are:
a. USB,
b. Internal SD Card, or
c. External SD Card.
4. Press OK to initiate the backup procedure, a progress bar displays.
5. When the backup is complete, the confirmation message SUCCESS is displayed briefly, then you are
returned to the Program Backup & Restore menu screen.
APK Install
Updates can be performed locally using a USB drive or you can update the APP remotely. For remote updates,
a connection to the internet is required. See “Update APP Remotely” in the appendix for details on this
procedure.
1. Copy the new SAM4POS APK file to a USB flash drive and insert the USB drive into the SAM4POS
terminal.
2. From the SYSTEM menu selection screen, press APK INSTALL. The path selection dialog appears.
