6.3.6 Balancing of rotors in synchronous version
In accordance with the requirements for smooth running, the rotor core with the spindle shaft
must be implemented with the appropriate vibration severity level.
The following chapter describes the balancing of the synchronous rotor with sleeve.
The rotor can be supplied in one of two balance conditions.
Not prebalanced Balancing quality level G2.5 to DIN ISO 1940
Reference speed 3600 rpm
There are no balancing weights in the balancing
planes.
Any balancing weights previously placed by the
manufacturer can be replaced or augmented with
additional balancing weights.
Balance the rotor with the balancing planes pre-
sent on the rotor in a single work step.
Fine balancing of the rotor with the balancing
planes present on the rotor.
Description of the balancing weights
To balance the rotor core you require balancing weights.
The balancing weights are supplied with the rotor.
Mass of the balancing weight: approx. 4.1 g
Length of the balancing weight: approx. 12 mm
