9.3 Faults and how to resolve them
This chapter describes possible faults and the measures to be taken to resolve them.
Precondition
Only eliminate faults and causes of faults if you are technically qualified to do so.
Possible faults and the measures to be taken to resolve them
Danger to life as a result of protective devices being taken out of service
If protective devices are taken out of service there is a risk of serious injury or death in the
event of a fault.
• Never disable protective functions or devices, even in test operation.
● If there are deviations from normal operation or if faults occur, proceed initially according
to the following list.
