50” Mower Deck - Idler Replacement
Removal
1. Remove the mower deck from the tractor. Refer to
“50” Mower Deck Removal” on page 7-74.
2. Loosen the nut from the bolt securing the idler pulley
to the idler bracket (Fig. 693).

3. Tilt the idler pulley and remove the belt from around
the idler pulley (Fig. 694).

5. Position the right mower deck cover on the mower
deck (Fig. 691).

6. Install 4 screws to secure the right mower deck belt
cover to the mower deck (Fig. 692).
7. Install the mower deck onto the tractor. Refer to “50”
Mower Deck Install” on page 7-76.
