PROCEDURE:
●Fuel tank middle cover component
Using 4# inner hexagon socket remove 2pcs bolts⑴,take off the bushing⑵ and the cushion rubber ⑶.
Counterclockwise rotating the fuel tank cap⑷ and then take off it,be careful not to pull the nylon cord① hard.
Wrap the head of the screwdriver with a cloth and carefully pry off the rear part of the middle cover, as shown
by the arrow in Figure 1. Remove the fuel tank cover assembly from the bike; be careful not to pull the cable of
the fuel tank lock ⑿.
Reinstall the fuel tank cap ⑷ to prevent foreign ob
jects from falling in.
Turn to the back and carefully pry the buckles at both ends of the fuel tank lock ⑿ with a screwdriver, remove
the fuel tank lock ⑿, and pay attention to prevent damage to the buckles.
●Fuel tank outer cover component
Clamp the tab of therotating bracket⑼ with a slight force. Remove the coverassembly and take care to prevent
damage to the buckle. Remove the circlip ⑺ installed on the rotating shaft ⑾, pull out the rotating shaft, and
remove the torsion spring ⑻, rotating bracket ⑼ and damper ⑽.
CAUTION:
●The parts should be protected during the disassembly process to prevent damage to the paint surface.
●When removing the buckle, pay attention to the strength to prevent damage to the buckle.
●Lubricating oil or grease should be regularly added to the oil tank lock ② to prevent jamming. If you find
that the outer cover cannot be opened, try pressing the "FUEL" button with one hand while slightly pressing the
tail of the outer cover with the other hand. Otherwise, the cables, switches, and tank locks need to be checked
step by step to determine the source of the fault.。
